I have fifteen years of experience in designing and enhancing IT systems across finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and government services. Currently, I work at a leading UK Financial services company, overseeing the design and management of virtualisation environment, storage, backup, and replication for critical trading applications.
Previously, I spent seven years at a renowned IT company, advancing from Senior System Engineer to a leadership role, where I worked as a partner engineer for VMware, Netapp, Dell, Cisco, and HPE. Deployed and managed customers’ services and a 24/7 support team that achieved a nearly 99% response time in incident resolution. I began my career at BOC (Linde), focusing on global connectivity and disaster recovery, and supporting enterprise clients.
I possess extensive knowledge of SAN storage solutions, particularly HPE 3PAR, Nimble, MSA, NetApp FAS, and NetApp AFF. My expertise also includes Linux and Windows administration, as well as virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Hyper-V, and Oracle virtualisation.
Outside of work, I explore Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and VMware, and enjoy tasting various coffee roasts. I welcome opportunities for collaboration or discussions on resilient infrastructure and coffee preferences.
